FIFA19 on Intel HD 520 and 620

Another epic release by EA, the only company that actually attempts to give us a decent worthwhile football game (not soccer), no thanks to Konami. FIFA 19 continues to shine in 2023 with its phenomenal graphics, engaging gameplay, and standout features. The game boasts a fabulous career mode, captivating storylines in “The Journey,” and improved gameplay mechanics such as the Active Touch System and Timed Finishing. FIFA 19 also impressively caters to a wide range of platforms, including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. While not introducing a plethora of new features compared to FIFA 18, FIFA 19 has significantly improved upon its predecessor, making it a must-play football experience, well atleast back then in 2019 😅.

This article details the performance of both the Intel HD 520 and Intel HD 620 in playing FIFA19 The Intel HD 520 and 620 were combined in this post because of their similarity in both architecture and performance, although their various performance figures are given below.

Settings/Configuration on FIFA19

Here is the minimum requirement to play FIFA19 on pc, gotten from System requirement labs

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (Build 17134+) 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / AMD Radeon R7 260
  • DirectX Version: 11

NOTETo ensure optimal performance on integrated graphics, it is recommended to have a minimum of 8GB RAM running in dual channel configuration. This is particularly crucial for GPU-intensive tasks as running them with only one stick of RAM can significantly impact performance, potentially reducing it by up to half.

It’s important to note that the performance of the Intel HD 520/620 falls below the minimum requirements of the Nvidia GTX 460. However, due to the lower settings and resolution used for Intel HD graphics, FIFA 19 can still be played, albeit at lower graphical fidelity. Adjusting the settings to a lower level allows for smoother gameplay and ensures the game remains playable on these integrated graphics units.

FIFA19 on Intel HD 520

FIFA19 on Intel HD 520: Valorant is playable on the Intel HD 520 with the following benchmarks figures

  • Framerate range 30 – 39
  • Average FPS: 35
  • VRAM Usage: 2395MB
  • RAM Usage: 6766

FIFA 19 offers a playable experience on the Intel HD 520 integrated graphics, albeit with some performance limitations. Let’s explore the benchmarks for a clearer understanding.

On the Intel HD 520, FIFA 19 typically achieves a framerate range of 33 to 39 frames per second, which falls within an acceptable range for gameplay. It’s important to note that occasional stuttering may occur, but it is not excessive or disruptive to the overall experience.

To ensure a smoother and more consistent gameplay experience, it is strongly recommended to cap the framerate at 30 frames per second. By doing so, you can mitigate potential irregularities and fluctuations in framerate, resulting in a more stable and enjoyable gameplay experience.

However, it’s worth mentioning that the first-person camera mode may prove unplayable on the Intel HD 520, as it typically results in lower framerates, averaging in the early to mid 20s. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid this camera mode at all cost.

While FIFA 19 may face some limitations on the Intel HD 520, players can still enjoy the game. By adapting lower graphical settings, a decent 30 FPS gameplay is more than possible.

FIFA19 on Intel HD 620

FIFA 19 delivers a smooth and consistent gameplay experience on the Intel HD 620 integrated graphics. Let’s explore the benchmarks for a clearer understanding.

On the Intel HD 620, FIFA 19 typically achieves a framerate range of 44 to 55 frames per second, providing a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience. The game experiences virtually no stutters during game play.

While the Intel HD 620 performs well in FIFA 19, it’s important to note that the first-person view camera mode may not provide the best experience, although it is much better than on the Intel HD 520, you will be sacrificing a lot of FPS with more incurred stutters.

Conclussion

Both the Intel HD 520 and 620 integrated graphics are capable of running FIFA 19, with some compromise. For optimal performance, it is recommended to adjust all the graphics settings to low.

The Intel HD 520 can handle FIFA 19 with a decent 30 to 40 FPS. while, the Intel HD 620 performs even better, achieving a framerate of mid 40s to 50s. Low settings on 720 provides acceptable performance on both these IIGPU’s, although the higher resolutions and settings can also be utilized with deifferent outcome, at a locked 30 FPS 900p can be achieved on both, with the Intel HD 620 scaling up to 1080p resolution at low settings.

While the performance of both the Intel HD 520 and 620 may not match that of dedicated graphics cards, they are still capable of delivering enjoyable FIFA 19 experiences. By utilizing recommended settings and adjusting graphics options, you can engage in the game’s immersive football world and enjoy its various features and game modes.
